One Direction- Harry Styles
                     Harry Styles' full name is Harry Edward Styles who was born on February 1st 1994. He's from the village Homes Chapel, Cheshire, England. He was a student at Homes Chapel Comprehensive School. His mother is Anne Cox, and father Des Styles. His parents divorced when he was 7 and his mother got remarried. After the divorce, Harry, his older sister, and mom moved to further in the country side. 
                    Before the X-Factor, Harry had a lot of musical interest. He was the lead singer for the band, "White Eskimos" and entered the battle of the bands competition As a child, Harry loved to sing Elvis Presley. He says that auditioning for the X-Factor gave him much more confidence.

                                Christmas  History
        Christmas is a national Christian holiday. It is celebrated in almost every Christian home on December, 25. It is celebrated for Jesus' birthday, but some people just celebrate it for the presents. The original celebration in Eastern Christianity was January 6th. "Christmas" is a compound word originating from the words, "Christs' Mass". Christmas is celebrated as a major festival all around the world , even for the "non Christians".  People often decorate with Christmas trees, wreaths, Santas, and more. 
     Some facts you might not know about Christmas are:
     1.Santa's look wasn't created by Coca- Cola (as people might think)
     2.Santa doesn't always have a beard.
     3. Santa's sleigh doesn't travel at the speed of light.
       4. Santa has a real postal code.
       5. more than 3 billion Christmas cards are sent out each year.

                                   One Direction- Louis Tomlinson

      Louis William Tomlinson, born Louis Troy Austin, was born on December 24, 1991. He is from Dancaster, South Yorkshire, England. His mother is Johannah Poulston and his father is Troy Austin. Unfortunately his parents split when he was young and he took on his step father's name Mark Tomlinson. He has five younger half sisters, which of 2 played baby roles of television show, "Fat Friends" He would go along and serve as an extra. Louis went to Hall Cross School, then went to Hayfield School.

    He admires Ed Sheeran who helps write some some songs for One Direction. He also likes carrots and his signature look is a striped shirt and red suspenders. He is the oldest of One Direction and is 5'9". He said that if he wasn't a band member, he would be a drama teacher. In the band he is known as "the flirt" and personally his favorite band (beside One Direction) is The Fray.

                                                    One Direction- Niall Horan
   Niall James Horan was born on September 13, 1993. He is from Mullingar, County Westmeath, Ireland. His mother is Maura Gallagher and his father is Bobby Horan. He has one older brother, Greg Horan. When Niall was 5, unfortunately, his parents got divorced. His brother and him lived between homes for two years. They finally made up their mind and decided to live with their father in Mullingar. Before auditioning for X-Factor, he preformed around his homeland, including him acting as Lloyd Daniels in Dublin. Niall has been playing guitar since childhood. He has made such a huge accomplishment since X-Factor, along with the rest of the band!

                               Bet You Didn't Know!- Thanksgiving Post
      Here are some facts about Thanksgiving that I bet you didn't know:
    1. Thanksgiving didn't become a tradition until 200 years after the 1st Thanksgiving.
    2.The 1st Thanksgiving was in 1621. 
    3.The 1st Thanksgiving was a 3 day festival of eating, hunting, and other entertainment in honor of the Pilgrims 1st successful harvest .
    4. Didn't have turkey, pumpkin pie, or potatoes because they hadn't been introduced to New England yet. 
   5. They didn't have another Thanksgiving until 1789. President George Washington introduced the First Ever National Thanksgiving Holiday. It took place Thursday November 26, 1789. 
   6. Sarah Hale made a 30 year campaign to make Thanksgiving a national holiday. She published recipes for pumpkin pie turkey, and stuffing.
    7. In 1863, Abraham Lincoln announced that the nation would celebrate Thanksgiving every year on the final Thursday of November.

                                                 One Direction-Zayn Malik

      Zayn Malik is 1/5 of One Direction. He was born in West Lane, Baildon, Bradford, England. He was born to his British Pakistani father Yaser Malik and British mother, Patricia.  He has 1 older sister and 2 younger sisters. 
      In 2010, when Zayn was just 17, he auditioned solo for X-Factor. as his audition song, he sang "Let Me Love You" by Mario. All three judges said yes and he moved on throughout the X-Factor. He was eventually put with Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, and Liam Payne, together they made up One Direction. 
    Tattoos- Zayn has multiple tattoos,  
       1. His grandfather, Walter's name in Arabic.
       2. Japanese symbol that means "born lucky"
       3. Ying Yang symbol on his left wrist
       

                                                      One Direction

     One Direction is an English/Irish boy band consisting of Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson. In 2010, each of them auditioned separately for X-Factor. Simon Cowell then decided after many weeks of performing on the X-Factor, to put them as a group now called One Direction. They signed in North America to Columbia Records.  In September 2011, One Direction released their debut single, "What Makes You Beautiful".  It ranked number 1 on the UK Singles Chart. Other singles, "Gotta Be You" and "One Thing" were ranked in the UK Singles Top 10. 

        One Direction attended the 2012 Brit Awards at which "What Makes You Beautiful" won for Best British Single. In December 2011, they started on their first UK tour, the Up All Night tour. The tour, resulting in 62 shows, ended up both critically and commercially. In May, 2012, they started recording their second album, Take Me Home. There album will be released on November 12 and will be bought by hundreds.
