Justin Bieber was a small town boy that lived in Stratford, Ontario. As a child, he would play his drums and sing amazingly his hobbies were also hockey and other sports! He started off by posting videos of him singing on YouTube for his relatives to watch. Turns out, not only his relatives were watching. One day, Justin's mother, Pattie, suddenly got a phone call from Scooter Braun , a former marketer executive for So So Def. Pattie had absolutely NO idea who this random man was. Pattie was in shock when Scooter wanted to fly her and Justin,now 13, out to Atlanta, Georgia. Pattie agreed having no clue what she was getting her and her son into.
Pattie agreed and flew out to Atlanta and then began recording demo tapes. A week after arriving, Justin sang for singer/song writer Usher. Usher liked him so much that he set up an audition for Justin with Antonio L.A. Reid of Island Def Jam Music Group. Reid signed Justin to Island Records in October 2008. Now, at this point Pattie and Justin moved to Atlanta temporarily. Scooter and Justin consulted for a while before he became Justin's manager. Then, his career shot up from there...
